Trampolines are an excellent way to lose weight and burn calories, while at the same time, have lots of fun. Fitness trainers suggest jumping on a trampoline at least 30 minutes a day and you'll notice a huge difference in your cardio and physical condition after 2-3 weeks. Keep in mind that a lot of gymnasts use trampolines to help them build and maintain endurance and stay in shape.

There are many ways to get fit and tackle the issue of childhood obesity but many will be met with resistance by the children themselves. With trampolines, however, the children will invariably consider this a fun piece of apparatus and, in most circumstances, won't even realize the positive health implications that trampolines can have. This can be crucial in ensuring that children keep up with the exercise routines that can help them tackle obesity.

Dr. Jennifer McCullough recommends:
"To increase metabolism, strengthen weak muscles and joints, increase cellular oxygenation, improve on endurance and stamina, and detoxify and cleanse the lymphatic system, I recommend my patients to bounce on their trampolines at least 10-15 minutes per day. "

For physical fitness training, 20-30 minutes is reccomended. However, for simple health purposes, 10-15 minutes per day should be adequate.
